Sydney's favourite cooking school, Signorelli Gastronomia, is presenting an exciting series of interactive Italian cooking classes this Autumn.
All are welcome to come along and learn the art of making authentic Italian pizza, pasta and mozzarella in a fun and social atmosphere.
Gastronomia is the study of the relationship between culture and food, and that's exactly what these fun cooking classes are all about.
Under the guidance of friendly experienced chefs, you'll be learning to cook like nonna in no time!

Learn how to create authentic Italian pizza with in-house Pizzaiolo Salvatore D'Avola. The class begins with a glass of prosecco and a delectable antipasto bar as you absorb the ambience of Signorelli Gastronomia. This class takes you through step-by-step on how to make an authentic Italian pizza and become a pizza connoisseur. Pizzaiolo Salvatore will teach you the techniques of kneading, measuring and producing a delightful pizza. Have fun learning pizza acrobatics and spin your pizza like a PRO… followed by the taste testing part! After cooking your tasty pizza in the stone-fired oven, you get to sit back and enjoy it with your new friends.

Benvenuti to the pasta masterclass! In this hands-on class, you will learn how to make the perfect fresh pasta and two classic Italian sauces; boscaiola and napolitana. Start the class with a glass of presecco and a delectable antipasto bar as you absorb the ambience of Signorelli Gastronomia. This class takes you through step-by-step how to make authentic al dente fresh pasta and understanding the difference between pasta varieties. In-house pasta maestro Marco will demonstrate kneading and other necessary techniques to ensure you create the perfect consistency. Once you have created the perfect pasta, you will finish your dish by making two classic Italian sauces and sharing the meal with your classmates over a glass of Italian wine.

It can be intimidating at first to make cheese, but if you learn with the experts, you'll understand the tricks to perfect Italian delicacy. Hosted by the experts from Vannella Cheese, authentic cheese lovers and enthusiasts, this class promises to spark a crazy mozzarella addiction if you don't already have one. They will demonstrate how to make the mozzarella and of course you will get to stretch your own and finally assemble a Caprese Salad to enjoy! Mozzarella is best consumed on the day of creation so it's a worthy skill to have – being able to make and eat your own mozzarella when it is fresh and most delicious!
