With traditional pizzerias making a resurgence in Adelaide at the moment, the choice is proving difficult. However, , hidden at the top end of Hawker st in Bowden, is the newest must go to pizzeria in Adelaide.

Nestled in a row of shops near the railway line, it's a little out of the way but be sure to find it as you won't leave disappointed, plus the parking is convenient.

Walking in, you are greeted by friendly staff who immediately take you to a table or offer you a seat at the bar, while you wait comfortably with a drink. The intune decor, including the flashy red car right in view of every table, complements the warm cosy atmosphere, and you can see the boys tirelessly making the pizza behind the glass wall.

The menu is simple, with a few starters offered and the pizzas are basic, as traditionally they should be. Everything we sampled was simply delicious. You could just taste the freshness and quality in the ingredients used. My hot tip is the sweet potato fries and the prosciutto pizza. The vegetarian options are plentiful with the mushroom and margarita pizzas looking, smelling and tasting scrumptious.

Who could go past the dessert on offer, not us! Tiramisu straight from Nonna's kitchen and the dessert pizzas - just order one, that's all I will say about that. This amazing food experience had to be to finished off with a limoncello, just perfect.

It has only been open for a couple of weeks but the place has the buzz of an old-school pizzeria in Little Napoli. Please make your booking now, as they are essential. , the vibe of little Italy, in the thick of Brompton.
