In summer, we often eat outside as who wants to be in a hot kitchen or worse still a stuffy restaurant. The restaurant, Small Print Pizza, has come up with a great idea, especially as they are opposite Victoria Gardens dog park. They bring pizza to you in the park. It works like this:
1. Drop into Small Print & order your pizzas.
2. Grab a number flag and a free returnable picnic rug.
3. If you fancy a park game they have bocce, finska, hoopla and frisbees. You just need to leave a $20 cash deposit and your driver's licence.
Small Print gets rave reviews for their pizzas because of their interesting menu. Try a vegetarian option with baked beetroot, mushroom with truffle oil, a spicy chicken with chilli jam or beef brisket with smokey yoghurt.
There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, almost half the menu and gluten-free bases.
