Having travelled around the world, I believe that I have developed a taste for lots of different food and culture. I must admit, Mediterranean food, in particular, is known to be some of the healthiest cuisine in the world, and it's tasty.

When I came across Pita Bakery in Mordialloc one day, they had a lot to live up to. Yuri and his team certainly delivered in spades.



The menu focuses on beautiful homemade and fresh ingredients, either served in a pita (freshly baked on the premises, I might add), or on a plate with salads such as eggplant, cauliflower and other such delights.

Make sure you order the hummus in a pita, or my favourite, which is fried eggplant, hummus and chips.

This is the best hummus I have tasted.

Pita Bakery also does great schnitzels, brisket and the coffee is good too.

Make sure to stop by Pita Bakery - you won't be disappointed!
