As part of the Vibrant Darwin initiative, the Pit Stop Playground has 2 separate play spaces complete with a giant fan to tackle Darwin's hot weather. The giant fan above the playground is not only helping make the play area cooler but also this giant construction has a wow factor for the little ones.

This upgraded playground makes parents happy because the new playground is more child-friendly compared to the out-dated play equipment before . With sets of equipment that divide bigger and smaller kids play areas, it will ensure little ones enjoy this new playground in a safe environment.

The design was based on feedback from surveys conducted by Darwin City Council The new playground has multiplay elements for 3-5 years, a separate play area for up to 3 years of age and a pit stop where parents, carers and children.

Slide and climbing frames are some of the play equipment that you can find at the big children's play area, while a little slide and touch-featured play equipment are for little ones to explore. Between the two play spaces, the is a green crocodile - the mascot of Darwin. The Pit Stop Playground at The Mall will bring some fun for little ones or the young at heart.
