AHOY PIRATES!
Get a taste of a 15th century pirate ship with a tour around the Pirate Ship 'Notorious' at Manly Harbour Marina this Easter long weekend.
'Notorious' is a recreation of a 1480's caravel. Made from 300 tons of reclaimed timber it was researched, designed and constructed by Graeme Wylie over a ten year period and was launched in February 2011 at Port Fairy.
The mooring on William Gunn Jetty adjacent to the Tide Wine Bar is a unique opportunity for visitors of all ages to experience 15th century nautical ambience in the midst of a magnificent harbour.
'Notorious' will be moored near the entrance to the Tide Wine Bar on the William Gunn Jetty. The Tide is looking to see plenty of pirate scallywags over the weekend! There could be some pirate booty for some special buccaneers. The Tide Wine Bar is open each day over the Easter weekend. Check out their menu, opening times on their
website .
Manly Harbour Village is a hive of activity over the Easter weekend with markets and music aplenty. For more details read the article
Celebrate Easter at Manly Harbour Village.
'Notorious' will be open for viewing from Friday 14th April to Monday 17th April each day from 10am to 4pm. Tickets will be available from the gangway to the ship on the William Gunn Jetty just off Wyvernleigh Close near the Manly Swimming Pool.
