Be transported to a magical sparkle-filled land at Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) this summer. Pip and Pop's Rainbow Bridge exhibition is full of wonder and colour that will especially inspire children's imagination, and the best part is that this exhibition is free. There is also a really fun interactive magic land activity on the GOMA website, where children are encouraged to create their own imaginative fairy land.
Popular and talented Perth based artist duo, Pip and Pop have created four mythical diorama scenes, each one painstakingly decorated with miniature animals, crystals and all things cute. You can expect a lot of glittering pink and purple highlights in this exhibition, which revisits the artists "Journey to fantastic lands" exhibition from 2014-2015.
My family particularly loved the fairy floss hill/mountain and spotting the hidden mushrooms in the each of the rainbow inspired sweet scenes. Visiting Pip and Pop's Rainbow Bridge is a highlight of any visit to GOMA and children are guaranteed to come away smiling and keen to create their own Rainbow Bridge somewhere quiet at home.
