On Sunday 9th of February, 2014, Top Australian Wines is hosting an exciting fine dining event at the renowned After The Tears restaurant in Elsternwick, Melbourne.

Dubbed 'Pinot Gris vs Pinot Grigio Wine' this special one-off wine tasting lunch will see guests enjoy 8 top-shelf wines, paired with beautiful Polish inspired dishes created by the chefs at After The Tears.

Guests are invited to come along and sample the four-course lunch and wine selections, and decide which Pinot is best!

Whether you are team Pinot Gris or team Pinot Grigio Wine, you are sure to love bountiful Polish feast that's on offer.

Guests will start the feast with a tantalising Farmer's Zakąski, with luscious grilled Polish sausages, sliced gypsy ham, chicken liver and cracked pepper parfait, duck confit, Uzbek lamb croquette, dill pickles, horseradish marinated beetroot, Russian salad, and rye bread.

A delightful Vegetarian Zakąski, with fresh marinated eggplant, grilled zucchini, char grilled asparagus, piquillo peppers stuffed with goat's cheese, house marinated feta, pickled baby beets, red cabbage, Russian salad, and rye bread.

Accompanying the first shared plate is the 2011 Last Horizon East Coast Pinot Gris (Tasmania) and 2012 Airlie Bank Pinot Grigio (Yarra Valley).

Next up is a delicate Calamari dish with a twist; the calamari is crumbed in polenta and paprika and served with mixed leaves dressed with a red capsicum relish and lemon.

Accompanying the second shared plate is the 2012 Vin d'Alsace Pfaffenheim Pinot Gris (AOC France) and a glass of 2012 Trentino Alto Adige Cantina Terlano Pinot Grigio DOC (Italy).

Following the seafood dish is a scrumptious Cheese Souffle and Lamb Croquettes served with saffron and garlic butter with relish.

Accompanying the third shared plate is the 2011 Ros Ritchie Pinot Gris (Strathbogie, VIC) and 2013 SC Pannell Pinot Grigio (Adelaide Hills),

Concluding the feast is Hungarian Chicken and Mussels, which will be accompanied by the 2012 Villa Wolf Pinot Gris (Germany) and 2012 Cantine Lamberti Pinot Grigio delle Venezie IGT Santepietre (Italy).
