Pinocchio's steakhouse and bar is located in 'The Spot' on the trendy side of Randwick. Put simply, they serve up hearty Italian meals in a beautiful open space. The décor is chic and modern, from the red walls to the fancy light fixtures. It is casual contemporary dining and great for large groups, so bring your colleagues here for end of year celebrations. It is also a romantic spot for dates.
You'll find much more than just big, juicy steaks at Pinocchio's. Enjoy generous pastas, comforting pizzas and fresh seafood. Try the vodka Bloody Mary oyster shots, $4.70 each (pictured). They are very strong but it feels like you are drinking summer. If you aren't a fan of fish in your booze, they have an excellent bar and cocktail menu.



A dozen of their natural Sydney Rock oysters (pictured) is the perfect starter to share, $26.10. They aren't huge but are always fresh. It's like devouring the ocean. On the subject of seafood, the dish that everyone seems to order at Pinocchio's is the Tempura King Prawns ($17.70 starter or $27.90 main). They are massive and come with homemade tartare sauce. Yum.



Their Greek salad (pictured) deserves a mention too, simply because a small ($11) is actually huge. They aren't skimpy on the avocado or the feta either. Mains range from $23.90 to $29.90 and all come with veggies and roast potatoes. It's not the cheapest night out but the portions are epic and the place is very elegant. Staff are patient and always friendly.



Definitely make a booking if you are going after 7.30pm. The place is huge but it is always packed. Don't forget, they are family friendly too. Kids eat for free before 6.30pm daily and they have a lot to choose from.

Why not grab a sweet dessert afterwards across the road at The Sweet Spot Patisserie or Four Frogs Creperie ?
