Pink is for Boys is a children's picture book written by Robb Pearlman and illustrated by Eda Kaban that explores gender stereotypes and cultural norms in childhood. Pink is for Boys is 40 pages long and was published by Running Press Books on 5 June 2018. It is suitable for children between 4 and 7 years of age.

Pink is for Boys has a powerful message in it and that is pink is for boys… and girls… and everyone! There are a lot of gender stereotypes in childhood. We are told that blue is for boys and pink is only for girls, but is that really true? Who decided this rule? Why is everything so pointlessly gendered? Can't children just be children and enjoy the things they like without being restricted by gender stereotypes?

This is what Robb Pearlman argues in Pink is for Boys. His sweet, simple story argues that Pink is for Boys and for Girls… and for bows and fancy clothes. And blue is for uniforms on a team, yellow is for a crown to wear, orange is for popsicles dribbling down sticky chins and red is for cars racing down a track. All of the colours are for everyone to enjoy how they wish. Childhood is not colour coded.

Pink is for Boys empowers children to ignore gender stereotypes and encourages them to enjoy what they love to do and to express themselves how they like.
