2015 Pink Day Archery Tournament for the Pink Cancer Support Group

The Yering District Archery club are stringing their bows and aiming high for their annual Pink Day Archery tournament coming up on the 21st of November 2015. Proceeds from the day will go to the Yarra Valley Ladies in Pink, a support group and a respite house for women of any age affected by cancer.

As well as the grand tournament, there will be two one hour archery sessions open to the public for $15 and this includes bow hire. The first session starts at 9:30am and the second at 10:30 am. Bookings are essential on 9739 4727.

It gets even better! On the day there will be market stalls, classic car/bikes display and live entertainment.

Now for what we've all been waiting to hear about. To enter the tournament you will need to go to Archers Diary here .
Adults entry fee is $40 (90 arrows at 50 meters on an 80cm face) and Under 20's entry fee is $25 (90 arrows at 30 meters on an 80cm face). To sign up for the tournament you will need to be a current Archery Australia member or a current Archery Alliance member. Please be aware that this event has limited spaces and will fill up quickly.

The Yarra Valley Pink Cancer Support Group is not for profit support group for women newly diagnosed with cancer, caring for someone with cancer, advanced cancer and recovering from cancer. The group activities include peer discussion, meditation, relaxations and social activities. The group can be contacted on 13 11 20.
