Come celebrate the diverse Pine Rivers region in nine family oriented events across the Shire. Beginning with Hills Carnivale at Ferny Hills and ending with a BMX Competition at Albany Creek, there really is something for everyone and its mostly free.

Hills Carnivale, Saturday, May 18th, 2013 - 12pm - 6pm:

Hills Carnivale is a fun afternoon of live music, market stalls and $2 rides for children in George Willmore Park, Ferny Hills. This year there will be a fantastic fireworks finale at 6pm and children have the opportunity to meet Dora The Explorer and Esha the Elelphant, or maybe join in a free art workshop.

Maclean's Bridge Sports and Classic Car Festival, Saturday, May 18th, and Sunday May 19th, 2013 - 9am - 5pm:

Lakeside Park, Kurwongbah, will be filled with over one thousand sports and classic cars to celebrate National Motoring Heritage Day. This is Queensland's largest classic car event with two days of track activity, displays, demos and an auction.

Pine Rivers Charity Fun Run - Sunday, May, 19th, 7am - 9.30am:

Bring your friends and family along to this community event at Bray Park PCYC. Stretch your legs over 2 kms, 5kms or 10kms and raise funds for Rotary's Charities PolioPlus and ShelterBox.

Lunch on the Lawn - Sunday, May 19th, 11am - 3pm:

Bring along your picnic rug to North Lakes Resort Golf Club for this family friendly event. There will be an array of hot food and cold drinks and other tasty lunches available while you listen to live music on the clubhouse lawn overlooking the 9th green and fairway. There will be golf demonstrations and 'life be in it' activities to keep the children busy.

Mystery Bus Tours - Tuesday May 21st - Friday May 24 th - 8.30am - 4.45pm:

Tour the Moreton Bay Region, visiting one of six mystery destinations - cost $25 per person, including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Meet at Pine River Art Gallery, Strathpine and bookings are essential (please phone 5433 2052).

Revivin Drive In - Friday, 24th May - 5pm - 9pm:

See a popular outdoor movie at Pine Rivers Park. The Sapphires will be showing for only $5 per car (now that's a bargain night out). There will be a "Rock'n' Roll" Diner, fun $2 rides and a classic pre-show cartoon for the kiddies. Head along early for a good spot.

Rodz Rock 'n' Roll - Saturday, 25th, May - 11am - 9pm:

Dress in your rockabilly finest for the pin up competition, or maybe showcase your pre-1979 car in one of 14 categories for this fun car show and shine. There will also be retro markets, food and amusement rides all day, ending with a huge Fireworks show at 8.55pm.

Rodz Rock 'n' Roll Show

Dayboro Day - Sunday, 26th May - 8am - 3.30pm:

The Main Street of the Pine Rivers Shire town of Dayboro will be transformed for this community event.Compete in the Waterless raft race or eat your heart out in the Pineapple Eating Competition. There will be blacksmith displays, craft markets and an Antique and Collectables Fair at Dayboro Showgrounds.

BMX Core Series - Sunday May 26th, 10am - 4.30pm:

The best BMX riders in Queensland will compete in this extreme sports competition at Albany Creek Skate Park. Watch pro and amateur riders go head to head with some unbelievable aerial displays.
