Pillsbury Kids Cookbook: Food Fun For Boys And Girls, by The Pillsbury Editors, the breakfasts, lunches, dinners and sides, party food and desserts make cooking "child's play". Have you ever heard of the Pillsbury Dough Boy? Adults can even learn a few things from these recipes.
The following recipes, I have chosen to highlight, are for all of you kids out there. Personally, I am picky when choosing recipes. So, I am sure you are going to like them also!
S'more Hot Cereal for breakfast.
What kid would not want chocolate, especially for breakfast?
Super Subs for lunch.
Kind-of like going to the Subway restaurant for a classy sub, but a child can prepare a sub at home. They can use whatever lunch meat they prefer.
Bow Tie Pasta and Peas for dinner.
This recipe is a good one for those who do not like marinara or meat sauce. Creamy alfredo with a can of peas. I think peas may be something most children agree upon.
Mexi-Mix as party food
This is kind-of like a cheaper version of Chex Mix Party Mix. Chex tends to be quite expensive. This recipe is good to have if you want something for a party, have as a little gift, etc.
Fancy Dipped Strawberries
Why not let your child indulge in a healthy sweet treat?
Who Is Buying? Should the parent buy the groceries? Should the child?
As a child, I never had to buy my food. My loved ones always bought my groceries.
However, over the years, I have seen children at the cash register having to pull out their change to buy what they needed.
The cookbook is easy to follow. I suggest that this book be bought for any parent wanting their child to learn a forever skill called cooking. I give this book a
5-star rating.
