Pilates is a physical fitness system developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century and is practised worldwide, especially in Western countries. The method of stretching and exercises improves flexibility and increase your muscle tone and strength in your buttocks, lower back and hips. A back injury can reap the benefits from Pilates in many ways.



Each Tuesday from 9.00 to 10.00am, is held at the Joe Bradfield Centre Park , Mayfield Road, Carina . These classes provide exercises and stretching to suit both beginners to intermediate levels and are designed to improve posture, reduce stress and tone your body.

The next class for the above is scheduled for 16th February 2021 with all the classes supported by the Brisbane City Council's Active & Healthy Program - Active Parks. Plus, one of the best parts, the classes are Mu's and Bubs/child-friendly, so you do not have to miss out just because you have a family.
