Pig the Tourist is a brand new children's book written and illustrated by Aaron Blabey and the seventh book in his award-winning, best-selling Pig the Pug children's picture book series. Pig the Tourist is 24 pages long and suitable for children between 3 and 5 years of age. It was published on 1 July 2019.

Aaron Blabey is an award-winning, bestselling Australian children's book writer and illustrator. He is the creator of THREE bestselling children's book series; The Bad Guys (over 6 million books in print), Pig the Pug (over 4 million books in print) and Thelma the Unicorn (1.5 million books in print). His books are popular all over the world and have graced the New York Times bestseller list. His junior graphic novel series, The Bad Guys, is currently in film development with DreamWorks Animation and Thelma the Unicorn is being made into a film by Netflix.

In Pig the Tourist everyone's favourite mean spirited dog goes on holiday and can't resist getting up to mischief. He breaks a lot of rules, insults the locals, and ruins a lot of holiday plans. Kids will laugh out loud at some of the things Pig does to enrage the locals. I love how Aaron Blabey illustrates Pig. He puts so much humour and human expression into him. It's hard not to like Pig. He's hilarious.

Pig the Tourist was a fun new addition to the Pig the Pug series. The book follows the same formula as the previous books and is predictable, but is still worth reading to small children. It was entertaining seeing Pug visit different places and learn how to be a good tourist.
