Will Trevor be able to get his best friend off the couch?
Pig the Blob Aaron Blabey
Aaron Blabey. Scholastic.

Pig the Blob was written and illustrated by Australian children's book writer and illustrator Aaron Blabey. It is 24 pages long and was published by Scholastic on 1 September 2020.

Aaron Blabey is an award-winning and New York Times bestselling author and the creator of the children's book series, Pig the Pug, Thelma the Unicorn and The Bad Guys. The Pig the Pug series follows Pig, a mean spirited and selfish pug, who keeps getting up to mischief and causing grief for his buddy, the good-natured Trevor. The Pig the Pug books have sold 6 million copies around the world.

Pig the Blob is the eighth title in the Pig the Pug series. In this book, Pig has become a big, lazy blob, who will not get off the couch. His cheerful and friendly buddy Trevor tries to encourage him to get up and join him in some exercise, but Pig would rather eat junk food and browse the internet on his phone. What will it take for Trevor to get his buddy off the couch?

Pig the Blob was a lot of fun. I love the relationship between Pig and Trevor. The two of them make an adorable odd couple. Pig is naughty, lazy and rude, but Trevor doesn't let that bother him. He remains polite and always tries to be a positive influence on his playmate. For more information on Pig the Blob click on the link below.
