What strange little places we have near Trentham. At the corner of James Lane and Pearsons Road, East Trentham, you will find the Pig and Whistle Hotel, which seems in the middle of nowhere. It offers an extensive range of food and local craft wines and beers. It's a great place for a Sunday roast, at $34.50 for a three course Sunday meal. Meals at other times range from around $24-35, depending on what you choose.


If you are lover of Irish music, stay on for an Irish music session on the first Sunday in each month, commencing at 2.30pm. If you are staying in Trentham, there is a courtesy bus which will pick you up and take you home.

Throughout the month of July, Christmas in July is on for the Sunday Lunch, bookings essential.
