Pies, Pies everywhere and not a blackbird in them
Do you love a good pie that is full to bursting with fresh meat and vegetables? Then Pie Face might just be the company/store you are looking for.

At Pie Face, every pie is made fresh, with new batches being made and cooked throughout the day. All pies are cooked fresh instore, no freezing and shipping out to multiple stores.

Staff take great care in creating the perfect, tasty, scrumptious pies and take pride in making sure that each one is of quality and packed full of ingredients and great tastes.

Pie Face was founded in Australia in 2003 in Bondi Junction and has now developed into a franchise which is present in 5 countries, treating customers to fantastic food at great prices.

Each flavor of Pie has a 'funny' face piped onto it so that staff can tell them apart and these are all different, each is unique and they can be quite a laugh if you have not seen them before.

I recently visited the Pie Face store at Southern Cross Railway Station in Melbourne. This was my first experience with Pie Face and might just become a regular place for me to visit when I feel like something hot and fast to eat.

I bought myself a Butter Chicken Pie as this is a flavor I love. I must say that Pie Face- Southern Cross, Melbourne has the best Butter Chicken Pie I have tasted, anywhere.

Butter Chicken Pie

It was fantastic and I ended up buying a second one to take home with me. The pie was piping hot and the pastry was so fresh it was falling apart and melted in my mouth. The pie was filled carrots, onion, potatoes and of course, chicken in butter chicken sauce. It was just the right balance of everything and filled with proper pieces of chicken rather than mush and proper vegetables, rather than a few frozen pieces as with some pies.

The coffee was also hot, milky and tasted great.

The store/kiosk itself is located on the ground floor of Southern Cross Railway Station in Melbourne. There are tables and chairs provided (the floor could have done with cleaning, but the tables were fairly clean). The food preparation area appeared to be clean and well looked after.

The Pie Face store/s sells pies, quiche, miniature pies, sausage rolls, pastries, cakes and slices, coffee, tea, cold drinks and much more. All of it is so tasty.

From Chunky Steak, Mince, Chicken and Mushroom and Steak, Bacon and Cheese pies to unique flavours such as Butter Chicken, Tandoori Vegetable, Double Cheeseburger, Classic MaXXi Shepherd's Pies and many more delicious treats, there is so much to choose from and so many to love.

For Pie Face's current promotions, see HERE (might not be available at all stores).

I recommend Pie Face if you are someone who loves your pies; the many flavors are sure to provide a good selection for you, family and friends.

What a great idea they have had using the faces to identify the flavours and at the same time creating a wonderful point of difference for their business.
