Pie Face - Brisbane City
Pie Face, Adelaide Street, Brisbane

In response to the question 'Where is the Best Coffee in Brisbane?', I answered that I thought it could be found at Pie Face, Adelaide Street, Brisbane.

A trained barista myself, I am quite fussy about the coffee I drink. I like in strong, preferably sweet and served at the correct temperature for espresso.

Becoming tired of people saying: "Oh, I didn't realise that you did coffee too!", they decided to do something about it, inventing Wake me up!! coffee.

As the strength of the Pie Face brand can be found in the individuality/personality of the faces that appear on the pies, they decided to make those faces work equally hard on the coffee offered in store.

The 'strong blend' they serve is not only robust it is also flavourful and always made exceptionally well by friendly staff.

In addition to having, in my personal opinion, the best blend of coffee in Brisbane, they are also creating a big name for themselves with their line of gourmet pies.

Wide Range of pies and great coffee

At Pie Face, they make all of their delicious food products from scratch (except bread). This is done in their central kitchen each day; so that the franchisees may order only what they require. This assures fresh, quality baked goods every time.

Some products on offer at Pie Face include:

Savoury lunch pies (hand filled and hand faced)

Savoury mini pies (hand filled and hand faced)

Sausage rolls and mini sausage rolls

Couples and Family savoury pies

Butter and chocolate croissants, Danish and other pastries

Cheese and almond sticks

Made from scratch brownies

I'm a huge face of their 'Cheese Twists', washed down with a cup of "Kick my Arse!!!" blend.

Pie Face provides a really unique version of an Australian favourite, and definitely worth a try.

I've noticed lots of people around town carrying the easily recognisable Pie Face boxes... I am keen to try them sometime as they do seem to be popular!

I would certainly recommend it. The pies are excellent and there is a really wide range. The faces they do on the pies are pretty cool, too.
