Picnic Point Reserve is located on the western side of The Entrance on NSW Central Coast. It is a popular tourist destination because of its picturesque waterfront location.

The reserve has plenty of picnic areas, a playground and a great skatepark, which is popular with not only locals but visitors as well.

Located right on the lake, one can often see pelicans coming to be fed by fishermen who bring in their daily catch.

The reserve has toilets, BBQs, tables and seating areas. Children can play ball on the vast grassy areas or can go kayaking or fishing on the lake. On windy days, why not bring along a kite and soar amongst the pelicans and many other native birds?

Just a short walk from Picnic Point reserve is The Entrance Memorial park, a mecca for family fun and famous for its lively waterfront promenade.

When you're done relaxing at the quiet reserve, take a stroll to the promenade for a casual lunch or dinner while the kids enjoy a ride on the historic Carousel or cool off at Vera's Water Garden.

A wide range of accommodation is available to suit every budget. You can choose from inexpensive campsites, cabin parks by the beach, lakeside motels, waterfront apartments, unique B&Bs, beach houses or resorts.
