Skills that last forever

One way of getting your kids to eat nutritious food is to get them in the kitchen and to cook with them. Quality moments may be spent together.

Sunshine Eggs in a Hole
Use your favorite shaped cookie cutter!

An entire page full of recipes! A bonus? A section on freezing bananas!

Spaghetti Rings And Meatballs
Better than the canned stuff!

Mac n Cheese In A Mug
A staple in the kitchen!

A section on Back to School!

Sandwich Sushi
Use different types of vegetables for cute fillings!

Mini Meals

Black Bean And Cheese Nachos
Total yum from a microwave!

Black Bean Dip Garden
Create a mini garden to share or for yourself!

Creamy Juice Punch
A refreshing fruit drink to wet your whistle.

No Bake Crispy Pops
A very good recipe, especially for beginners.

Peach And Berry Yogurt Parfait

Yogurt Banana Split

Stars and Stripes Berry-Coconut Parfait

These three are all from the same family. Create these recipes year-round! Especially in the winter when dreaming for summer.

The only part of the cookbook that I did not like would be Dinner. Almost every recipe called for ground turkey. I think I have only had turkey once in my life. As I recall, the taste was nasty.

I am not saying that all children should consume ground beef. Maybe give them a tasting of different meats. For example, I choose to not consume turkey, pork, deer, etc. I choose to consume ground beef and fish.

So, maybe you can find recipes from other chapters that you can prepare for dinner.

I give this cookbook a 5-star rating.
