From 25 February, you'll be able to Pick Your Own Sunflowers in the picturesque rolling hills of Greendale.

Located in Moorabool Shire, Greendale is a 45 minute drive from Melbourne on the Western Highway.

Sunflowers have a large flower head and the stem of the flower can grow up to 3 metres tall, with a flower head that can be 30cm wide.

The farmers have encouraged visitors to wear appropriate footwear as you will be walking around a paddock and be alert to local wildlife including bees as they love sunflower pollen.

Bring their own secateurs or loppers but be respectful to sunflowers so others can enjoy them.

Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times as it's a working farm and there's livestock in the adjoining paddocks.

Opened Thursday and Friday 11.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday to Sunday 11.00am to 6.00pm. Entry is $5.00 which includes one sunflower and any extra flowers are $2.00 each. There will be CASH sales only as there's no service to host an EFTPOS machine.

Head to Greendale to Pick Your Own Sunflowers from this Victorian farm.
