Raspberry season is upon us! Just in time for Christmas, and this year promises to be better than last year, with the good rains and warm (but not hot) weather.
Get up to the Kinglake Raspberry Farm on Tooheys Road in Pheasant Creek, and load up with these beauties. There is no entry fee, you just pay for what you pick.
Don't forget to BYO containers, and bring more than you think you'll need - it's hard to stop picking once you start. And definitely "slip, slop, slap". You're out in the open and the UV is very high at the moment, so you'll need a hat and sunscreen.
The farm is not open on Christmas Day, but is open Boxing Day and New Year's Day, 9am to 6pm.
