When I'm not out and about you'll find me working from home, deep in the bushland of Sydney's infamous Galston Gorge. My virtual home is www.tallstory.com.au. Come and find out what else I've been up to.
Every weekend (and public holiday) from 26th May, the farm gate is flung open to give visitors the opportunity to select a range of citrus fruits including four varieties of mandarins plus oranges, limes and cumquats. The harvest continues throughout winter.
A scenic backdrop for fruit picking
Grab a bucket from the shed and wander about the lush green orchard, surrounded by spectacular sandstone escarpments. You are welcome to sample from the orchard as you pick, making it a very refreshing experience! There's also plenty of room to spread the picnic blanket.

Entry is free, so is the paddock parking. Bring along the family or a group of friends, but booking is required for bus groups. Kids might like to bring along some bread to feed the resident sheep.
Feeding the sheep is fun
After buckets are filled, head back to the shed to weigh and pay. A selection of the farm's homemade jams, honey and chutney are also available at good prices. Ford's Farm is located at 1275 Singleton Road Wiseman's Ferry, which literally means it is 12.75 km from the Singleton Road turn off.
