We all love cherries, don't we?

The cherry picking season is here. The cherries at Harben Vale Cherries in Balhannah are ripening and ready to be picked.

Alongside strawberry picking, the picking of cherries every year has also become kind of a tradition for me. A trip to Harben Vale Cherries is a must each year. And, if you've been there before, I'm sure you would easily agree with me. Their cherries are just delicious.

The season though is fairly short, usually in December and possibly January as well. Opening hours also vary. You will definitely need to check their Facebook page before heading out to avoid disappointment. In past years, I have unfortunately seen many people being turned away because they've sold out for the day.

Harben Vale Cherries is located on Altmanns Road in Balhannah. Entry fee is $5 per adult and $2 per child. The cherries are $10 per kilogram.
