Find the Perfect Christmas Giftor Treat Yourself
Piccadilly Market is returning to Geelong on December 5-6th 2015 for it's annual Christmas Market.
Whether you are looking for the perfect Christmas gift, gourmet food, Christmas decorations to complete your Christmas party, or just something special for yourself, this Market has everything you need.
In fact, there are over 100 specialty stalls at the upcoming market. There is a variety of jewellery, adult and children's clothing, homewares, accessories, and gourmet food. Some of the popular stalls include Koolaman Jewellery, Love.Heart.Home soy wax candles, organic herbal teas by Organics For Lily, Li'l Zippers unique baby clothes, and much more. For a complete list of stallholders, click here.
As it is a Christmas Market, there will also be a range of Christmas puddings, gingerbread houses, handmade chocolates and more, as well as a huge range of unique gifts.
The Market is open 9:30am-3pm each day. It is very family-friendly, so bring along the kids, or meet up with friends for a great day out. The Market is held indoors, so will be held rain, hail, or shine. There is plenty of free parking in the University carpark. Entry is just $2 for adults, and free for children.
If you're a Melbournian, Geelong is just over an hour's drive from the CBD, or about the same on the VLine train, so it's a perfect spot for a day trip.
Piccadilly Markets have been running for over five years, and were started in Geelong, where they have several markets each year. They have now branched out and have regular markets in Malvern too. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for announcements of 2016 Market dates.
