'Piazzarama Northbridge' is a series of family friendly activities on every first Sunday of each month until May 2016. It is a held on the lawn of Northbridge Piazza, at the intersection of James Street and Lake Street. Each Piazzarama Northbridge has a different theme. It has activities such as face painting, balloon artistry, roving characters, interactive activities and family films. The best part of it: it is free for everyone!
The Piazza is framed by the multi-purpose community building, fitted with an outdoor LED screen, an illuminated 8 metre high wall, and a flexible stage. Its space is designed to encourage the locals to utilise it for performances, exhibitions, festivals, sporting events and other cultural activities.
This weekend's Piazzarama: Sweets and Treats is part of 12th annual Eat Drink Perth Festival taking place on Sunday 3 April, 12 - 4pm. Find out more

The first movie screening starts from 12 noon to 2pm. It is none other than the beloved Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (2005, PG). It was directed by the famed Tim Burton and stars Johnny Depp, Freddie Highmore. This is the second adaption of 1964 book by famous author Roald Dahl.
From 2.30pm onwards you will be treated to the first film adaption which is Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory made in 1971. Both movies will be shown on the LED SuperScreen.
Northbridge is known as an entertainment zone and also as Perth's Chinatown. It is close to Perth Station or board a Blue CAT bus - it will transport you there free of charge!
In Northbridge, you could find all sorts of restaurants, cafés, pubs and bars. You are spoiled with lots of choices. Most of the eateries are reasonably priced.
