Make your way to Piazza Mercato for cool Italian vibes. Open seven days a week from breakfast through to dinner, the delicious authentic Italian food is courtesy of the people behind Napoli Centrale and Popolo Gelateria.

The two-storey venue is in an old bank building that was previously occupied by The Flying Tiger and the central square is reminiscent of a bustling market square in Naples. The downstairs area is utilised for breakfast, lunch and drinks . Whereas upstairs is reserved for dinner service and has seating suitable for couples as well as groups.

The food is great quality and very tasty, there are some options for vegetarians, vegans and those on gluten-free diets. The tiramisu is light but rich with a strong coffee flavour and not too much cream or sweetness and the cannoli are a delightful mouthful. The coffee is next level with the $2 espressos proving very popular with the passing parade as have the range of freshly made paninis and pastries.

Children are catered for and the atmosphere is chilled and happy especially when the music is playing. Enjoy live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm until 9pm and from 12:30pm until 2:30pm on Sundays. The staff are professional but friendly and helpful.

Whether you call in for breakfast, drinks dinner or dessert you won't be disappointed.
