Welcome to The Backlot, an intimate 50-seat state-of-the-art private cinema, for Perth Homeless Support Group's (PHSG) first special movie fundraiser afternoon for the ladies, on Sunday, July 1, 2018, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. I cannot think of a more appropriate choice than Ocean's 8. Moreover, dare I suggest this movie reveals that the formation of an audacious 'heist' team is not primarily a male domain.
As is customary at a PHSG event there is always more. Therefore, enjoy nibbles prior to the movie plus a door prize and a raffle. Additionally, a goody bag of beauty products will be presented to all attendees. Although the doors and bar are open from 3:00pm, please note that the movie starts at 3:30pm.
The proceeds of Oceans 8, go directly to the Perth Homeless Support Group, a not-for-profit charity organisation that seeks to assist those who are homeless on the streets of Perth, Western Australia.
Book now before someone nicks your spot
You can purchase your tickets here, a steal at just $30.00 per person. Therefore, why not assemble a crew of your own and enjoy a great movie at this intimate cinema, while helping to support the homeless in Perth. The proceeds from the movie afternoon at The Backlot Studios, 21 Simpson Street, West Perth, will provide Care Pack items to feed the homeless.
Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) gathers an all-female crew to undertake an impossible heist at New York City's yearly Met Gala. As the estranged sister of Danny Ocean, she obviously has a good dose of 'heist' in her bloodline.

The Perth Homeless Support Group Inc (PHSG) takes a 'hands-on' approach to meet the homeless and those at risk of being homeless where they live, be it on the streets, in the parks, in their cars, or other environments that are not what we would call home. Please log on, 'like', 'follow' and 'share' their' EVENTS' page and help support Perth's homeless.
Sunday walks that matter
Every Sunday PHSG volunteers meet in the State Library Car Park, then assemble outside the State Library, followed by a walk through the Murray and Hay Street Malls, handing out Care Packs (food and toiletries), and seasonal items (beanies, socks, blankets) the homeless. If you are interested in walking with a purpose, find out how you can help.
Book now while there is still time to grab a seat at only $30.00 per person.
See the need and act in a way that will make a difference without prejudice.
