We all want to preserve precious memories by capturing amazing photos of our beautiful children! With each passing year, our children grow and change and it's important to photograph them at every stage of their exciting lives. Helping you gain the skills and confidence to become your family's personal photographer is a fun and interactive Photography for Parents Workshop , presented by Photoh Adelaide.Held in the stunning parkland surrounds of Adelaide University, Waite Campus this Saturday 25th of August at 1pm, this unique experience will see you and your family learn tips and tricks to take gorgeous photos of your kids and take home fantastic photos, taken by you with the assistance of a professional family photographer and accredited instructor Amber Hammersmith. This engaging 2-hour experience is suitable for all skill levels, including beginners with any smartphone or other handheld camera, from point-and-shoot to SLR.During the workshop, Amber will be on hand to take you through the basics and show you how to make the most of your smartphone or camera. Together you will:Locate important settings on your smartphone or cameraCompose an image using framing and viewpointWork with light and shadeUse the correct settings for different situationsTake action shots and capture expressionsUse props and backgroundsDiscover the tips and tricks that the professionals use This fun-filled experience is sure to inspire you and you'll also take home stunning family photos which you can proudly share with family and friends!What you need to bring:Fully charged camera or smartphone, with enough space to take plenty of photos. It's a good idea to bring a portable phone charger if you have one. For cameras, please clear (format) your memory card beforehand.Also bring a blanket large enough to accommodate everyone attending as part of your booking and a small blanket for your child. Pack a picnic basket with all your favourite foods and drinks - it is a picnic after all!Some props will be provided, however, you are encouraged to bring your child's favourite toy, dress-up outfit and any other props that you would like to use. Also, come prepared with sunscreen and hats. Each family is limited to 2 adults and up to 3 children (or just Mum & bub is fine!).
