I am a world traveller & a mom of two, (8 & 6). I love to meet people, and am fascinated that there are 7 billion stories out there to be explored. I think Melbourne is the most happening city to live in with all the fun activities around town.
Calling All Photographers
One of the most culturally diverse and multi-ethnic suburbs of Melbourne is the City of Casey. Some statistics for the City of Casey are:
One of the fastest growing populations in Australia.
More 150 languages spoken. More than 100 faiths celebrated.
In order to highlight, promote and celebrate its diversity, the Balla Balla Community Centre (located in Cranbourne) has announced a photography competition and exhibition, urging community members to participate in large numbers.

The competition is being organised by Vanessa Santvoort who urges photographers to capture the rich and diverse community present in the City of Casey: the people, the place, the activity within the community, the talent, the sports, the schools, and the list is endless. The competition is free to enter.
There are four categories to enter: Junior, Intermediate, Open and Senior. Winners of the competition will be announced on Sunday 26 January 2014 at the Passport to Casey's Cultural Heritage Showcase, an Australia Day Event which will be held at Balla Balla Centre. Prizes up for grabs include cash and other items.
The entries are now open until 13 January 2013. All photograph entries received for the competition will be on exhibition till 28 March 2014.
This is an excellent opportunity for photographers to showcase their work whether they live in the City of Casey or surrounding areas.
