PhotoCoffee can be found in Rockingham, just a few metres from the beach front. If you don't know about it, you would probably miss it. And, according to some locals, it is their hidden gem. I guess that secret it out!
I came across PhotoCoffee mostly out of curiosity. When I saw their sign on Patterson Road, I thought that it called for a little investigation. After all, we can never know too much about taking photos, and when you add coffee to that topic – you have my attention.
The secret is out - now everyone can enjoy coffee and some photos!
PhotoCoffee has a sense of 'Je ne sais quoi'! The walls are etched with award winning photos, and little coffee tables line the one side of the room. In the middle are two massive leather couches, which have 'You are invited' written all over them.
The coffee bar is tucked at the back, which is kept neat and tidy. The coffee, may I add, is brilliant. In fact, it really tops all the coffees I have had. It has all those star qualities of great coffee: smooth, creamy, that nice roasted coffee flavour!
The beauty of PhotoCoffee is that you have everything on site. You can join one of Kingsley's classes to bring out the professional photographer within. The classroom setting, of course, has all the latest technology to enhance even the worse shot. And while you watch your photo unfold, you can enjoy a great cup of coffee.
Rockingham, on the most half, is a fair distance for most of those whom live in Perth and North of the River. However, it is only roughly 1 hour away from a great adventure coupled with great photography tips.
