My friends claimed Pho Minh Vietnamese Restaurant to be their favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Cabramatta. It is a place that brings traditional Vietnamese pho and special family recipes to the dining table.
It was a rainy day and the idea of warm hearty Vietnamese food sounded ideal for brunch.

Our Sunday brunch
The small restaurant is tucked away in a little corner along Arthur Street in Cabramatta. The interior looked simple, clean but cosy. We arrived slightly early, so we picked a table by the window. Soon after 12pm, large groups of Vietnamese families started to pour in, ready for their Sunday brunch feast and catch-ups.

Avocado Shake $4.00 each
For drinks, we started with avocado shakes and I was impressed with it. The avocado shake was not too sweet with condensed milk and I loved the creamy refreshing taste. My friend always orders his usual favourites while I take my time to peruse the menu.

Fried Spring Rolls $9.00
We ordered some fried spring rolls for entree. They were crispy fried and delivered that satisfying crunch sound when we bit into it. The spring rolls were filled with pork mince and specks of Vietnamese herbs. The special sweet chill vinegar dipping sauce for the spring rolls was really refreshing and took away all the grease and acted as a palate cleanser at the same time.

Beef and Brisket Noodle Pho Soup $10.50
For the main course, both of my friends ordered the beef and brisket pho noodles. The serving portion of the beef pho was large and it was filled with ample beef slices. Of course, it was served with complimentary bean sprouts and mint, chilli and hoisin sauce.

Cheap and so good!
I saw my friend brimming with a satisfying smile when he took a sip of the pho broth. He said it was a comforting dish with healing power. He remembered the hard difficult days and it was this steamy soup that got him going.

Crispy Chicken with dry egg noodle $12.00
I chose the crispy chicken with dry egg noodle. The crispy chicken was fried to golden perfection and it tasted succulent, juicy and smelt so good. It is one of Pho Minh's most popular dishes.
A bowl of flavoursome dry egg noodle was served on the side. It was simply seasoned with soy and fish sauce, fresh salad and chilli. It was a wholesome meal for Sunday morning.
The service was very quick and I think we were served by the friendly owner himself.

Just a great Sunday brunch
This is a good place to try a good variety of Vietnamese pho and other street food favourites. The portion size of the dishes served here is very generous and can easily be shared with a friend.
All dishes are reasonably priced. Most noodle dishes are under $15 and you will be rolling out of here with a happy stomach.
Definitely worth a try when you are on a budget.
