Huge servings of yummy, traditional Vietnamese food
Pho Hanoi Café is a small restaurant on busy Rocky Point Road, Ramsgate, serving up traditional Vietnamese and Asian food. Open for Lunch (Thursday and Friday) and Dinner (Seven Days), they offer an enormous menu that will cater to almost anyone's tastes. It's one of those places where the outside looks can be deceiving- inside is very nicely decorated and the food is amazing. I've been to this restaurant several times and always leave full and happy.
Entrées are your standard Asian restaurant fare such as dim sims and spring rolls. Both these choices are some of the best I've ever eaten. I recommend the mixed entrée so you have the opportunity to try a selection of different morsels, served with sweet chilli sauce. I'm not usually a spring roll fan, but these had my mouth watering!
Spring Rolls, Dim Sim and Prawn Toast with Sweet Chilli Sauce
You will be absolutely spoilt for choice in the mains department, with no less than 102 selections! Their laksa is very nice, one of the best I've had in Sydney.
Yummy Pho Hanoi Beef Laksa
If you feel like walking on the wild side, try the Pho Special- Beef, tendon balls, tendon and tripe in a noodle soup. It's not as scary as it sounds and fills you up, fantastic soul food! Their crispy skin chicken is also to die for, especially paired with a soup.
Pho Hanoi's Pho Special Beef, Tendon, Tendon Ball and Tripe Noodle Soup. Scarily delicious!
This restaurant has got me addicted to Vietnamese iced coffee. It's black coffee and condensed milk served in a tall glass of ice. It goes perfectly with a spicy meal.
All the wait staff are friendly, courteous and seem genuinely engaged in ensuring customer satisfaction. The restaurant is also very clean. It is cash only, but there is a Westpac ATM just next door. On street parking is at a premium, but there's plenty of parking behind the restaurant at the Intersection Hotel. Most dishes come under the $16 mark, making this a relatively cheap option, particularly considering their generous portion sizes.
Pho Hanoi Café delivers what many restaurants aspire to- fast, friendly service with amazing food! A great place to bring friends for a laid back meal that will leave you rolling out the door.
Tried this place for the first time tonight.
We had net prawn spring rolls (6) which was an excellent starter.
For mains we had a prawn hot pot (delicious) and a vegetarian crepe which was accompanied by a generous and tasty salad.
Fresh and very tasty food beautifully prepared and highly recommended with very reasonable prices!
