Phlegm Fatale - Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival

by Chelsea Ayling (subscribe)
Adelaide-girl relocated to Melbourne. Healthy obsession with live music, film and performance, whiskey, wine and gin, Mexican food, brunch.
Event: -

Returning in all her sequined mini dress and brown booted glory, Amy Bodossian promises to once again enthral and entertain with her sinfully ironic songs and spoken word.

Tales of the virgin and the whore, domestic 'bliss' and desperately wanting a man - "or scrambled eggs….'cause they're good too" - have the women in stitches thinking it all rings a little too true. And the men? Well, they blush and wriggle in their seats (and vow to offer with the dishes more often).

Amy is perfectly imperfect – managing to be daggy and sensual and sexy all at the same time. Unashamedly female, with curls as wild as her observations on life, Phlegm Fatale ensures you'll never be able to think of cleaning the house (or using a tissue) the same way again.

I was a little shocked, a little sad, a little embarrassed and a little in love by the end of the show.

If you were unlucky enough to miss it during the Adelaide Fringe, don't let this second chance slip away - make sure you catch Phlegm Fatale during the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival.
