can be accessed from Hinemoa Avenue and Arianna Avenue in Normanhurst. Both approaches involve a short path, which leads you to the main park space (from Arianna Avenue, there's a pretty bridge to walk over too).

Where the paths meet there is a small playground, which is hidden from the surrounding roads but still overlooked by neighbouring houses. It features a small but colourful equipment set and few other pieces too.





There are lots of seats around the space, all facing the equipment. There's lots of grass too, despite the park being quite small, but the ground isn't very flat so the potential for things like ball games is limited.




The land used for this park was donated to Hornsby Shire Council by Philippa Oleary herself, who lived in Normanhurst from 1939 (when Hinemoa street was just dirt) and passed away in 2002. Her family's house had been popular with kids because before the area became built up the land around it had been full of farm animals, which the local children loved to visit.
