A one-stop shop for dumplings, noodles and bubble tea
Phat Head Dumpling is a hot new noodle and dumplings bar on Semaphore Road in Semaphore. This week, I was lucky enough to come down and try out (some of) their menu. The interior was cosy and upbeat with a lot of colour from the main wall.
I ordered a variety of dumplings and chicken noodles. All the meals were absolutely delicious and the service was excellent - it took around 20 minutes between order and mealtime. Each dish was a celebration of sweet and sour flavours, in the best possible way.
The highlight dish was the cheeseburger inspired dumplings, which were aptly titled and lived up to the hype (tasted very much like a cheeseburger but in a dumpling). The beef was tenderly cooked with the flavours of cheese, mustard and onion blending perfectly.

The grilled chicken noodles was also another big winner. The noodles were light and beautifully marinated with Phat Head's noodle sauce. The grilled chicken was tender and juicy with a big hit of lemongrass, accompanied by some sweet notes.
