Open up your mind, Let your fantasies unwind
The Gilbert & Sullivan Society presents The Phantom of the Opera playing at The Arts Theatre on September 27th - 29th & October 3rd - 6th at 7:30pm and Matinees on September 29th & October 6th at 1.30pm and September 30th at 3.30pm.

Directed by David Sinclair with Musical Direction by Jillian Gulliver and Choreographed by Tim Blackshaw, Phantom of The Opera is the winner of 70 major theatre awards and the longest running Broadway musical ever.

Inspired by the novel by French writer Gaston Leroux and the 2004 film of the same name. Set in Paris in the 1880s, it's the story of the Palais Garnier Opera House and the entity that walks the halls. The ghost known as The Phantom of the Opera will cause havoc to anyone who gets in his way. This timeless story and unforgettable score tell the story of an undeniable obsession that could never die.

The Phantom dedicates his time to a young girl called Christine Daaé - pretending to be her deceased father, he helps her music ability for the better. He worships Christine and won't stop at anything to make her a star.

Featuring songs 'Masquerade / Why So Silent', 'Madame Giry's Tale', 'Journey to the Cemetery', ' Wishing You Were Somehow Here', 'Wandering Child', 'The Swordfight', 'We Have All Been Blind', 'Magical Lasso', 'Don Juan', 'I Remember / Stranger Than You', ' The Point of No Return', 'Down Once More', 'Learn to Be Lonely' and more.
