Phantom Falls Walk, Marysville

The 1000 Steps of Dandenong has a cousin, and its name is the Phantom Falls Walk. Located along Lady Talbot Drive near Marysville, it's hidden amongst trees such as mountain ash and myrtle beech. Don't be deceived by its short distance, as it is a challenging walk with some steep climbs. It took me about 45 mins to complete the walk (return).
You will spend most of your time on the bridge that crosses the Taggerty River, the river accentuates the feeling of the beautiful rainforest. Take your time and enjoy the scenery on the bridge as I wish that I could have stayed there a bit longer.
Challenge yourself and take this walk, it's like you're doing cardio in nature, also check out
Keppel Falls , which is not too far from Phantom Falls.
HOW TO GET THERE: Phantom falls is situated along Lady Talbot Drive, which is off Woods Point Road in Marysville. It's a gravel road and Phantom Falls is the first waterfall along the road.
