There are many of us who are animal lovers and some of us treat our animals like our children! I am guilty of this and am always interested in animal-related events.
Now, all you animal lovers, owners and your pets, it is time to treat yourself to a fun-filled day of pet-related entertainment, activities and giveaways! You could enter the doggie parade and maybe win a prize!
If you make your way to Ballam Park this October, you can help to celebrate our furry, feathered, finned, scaly and slithery friends! This will be a fun and free annual community event and it is sure to be a lot of fun for both humans and animals alike. It is also an event for animal enthusiasts of all ages.
You don't even have to own a pet or even to bring a pet along to enjoy the day out. There will be heaps of animals to meet, interact with as well as activities to enjoy throughout the day!
Some of the highlights for this day will include the following:
Pet parade
Dachshund races
Animal farm
Pet products and service stalls
Demonstrations
Learn about responsible pet ownership from the Council's Animal Management team
Get your pet's weight assessed at the marquee
Take a photo in the pet photo booth
Colouring in activities
And much much more
Please note this important information:
Pets are welcome but owners are responsible for their animals at all times.
Dogs must be inoculated and must be kept on leads, and other pets securely contained.
Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
There is an ATM machine available at the event.
This is a smoke and alcohol-free event.
The event will be held on 14th October 2018, from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. It will be held at Ballam Park, Cranbourne Road, Frankston, and entry is FREE.
The Frankston City Council acknowledges the traditional owners of the land in and around Frankston City.
