'Cause we'd much rather socialise with pets than anyone else
Got a pet? Like going to the pub? I assume you've never associated these two things together before, considering that pets aren't allowed in pubs. Well, prepare to be amazed.

RSPCA South Australia are holding a pet friendly event at The Henry Austin pub in Adelaide CBD. This is your chance to have a beer or a glass of wine with your pooch or cat in tow.

There's going to be a whole load of fun entertainment as you relax among all creatures great and small. Be prepared for a doggy dress up competition, children's entertainment, raffles and prizes, and local music.

In terms of food and drink, you can expect local craft beer and cider, the Mister Mixer pop-up cocktail bar, South Australian wines, and an incredible Henry Austin menu for food.

The event will run from 11am-5pm on Sunday 30th October. Entry to the venue is through Corromandel Place, off Chesser Street. It's only a gold coin donation to get involved. You can find out more info here.

I'd also like to personally suggest that if you're thinking of bringing a pet snake, maybe think again. Or at least be prepared to hear me scream.
