They dominate the skyline-well that is an under-statement. At night they are towering jewels that the mind conceive as something surreal. In fact, the city comes alive with lights-take a look.

This place was a complete surprise, and the trip was more like a magical mystery tour. The wise taxi driver did not let on to exactly what was coming next, instead just hinted that the sights would be something special. It was like being a kid in a photographical candy store.

You can relax there and surf the worlds largest manmade beach without going anywhere-want to hear that again?

Food and transport is very cheap by western standards, and if you love spicy food, there's plenty of it. The malls present the cleanest and most modern cuisines, but good finds can be made on smaller streets with fresh fruit and vegetables making dining experiences a fiesta for the palette.

Kuala Lumpur Tower must be the best looking communication tower you could think of and at night was adored by the trees with lights in the gardens of Bukit Nanas, which in English is Pineapple Hill. The lofty heights of the Twin Towers and Communication Tower can only be felt when they dwarf your soul and shine brilliantly against the night sky.

Air Asia and Royal Brunei Airlines are the 2 main carriers providing flights to Kuala Lumpur. There is a difference in price and basically you get what you pay for. The flight is around 8 hours, so take a book, magazine or tablet and catch up on some reading, movies or like. They are many more attractions and some will be covered soon.

What fantastic photographs and a virtual reality tour of Kuala Lumpur. My son and family arrived there yesterday as part of their son's graduation present of 13 years of public schooling (HSC in 2018). I have forwarded this information to them. They have been to Malaysia before, briefly in KL but spent a family holiday in Penang a few years ago. Singapore is where they were the first week of their two week stay this time. I look forward to seeing their panoramic images.
