When l need a close encounter with nature and serenity, l head for the hills. Mount Tamborine is one of my favourite spots to be immersed within nature and to indulge in gourmet food, wine and Devonshire teas.
Afternoon tea is a favourite with me and my mother, so you can imagine our delight when we came across this salon style, very feminine, perfectly quaint Petite and Sweet Patisserie.
The decor alone caught my eye straight away, the black and white striped awning and the white damask tables set with flowers and silverware, and that was before my eyes took in the glory of the Petite cakes perfectly iced and arranged.
In this very special Petite Patisserie, where everything is lovingly made by hand, you may partake in exquisite finger sandwiches, petite patisserie cakes and pastries superbly flavoured with Lemon Curd, French cream, chocolate and raspberry, Devonshire teas with heavenly scones, homemade preserves and cream.
So if you are feeling like a dose of the feminine, grab your girlfriends or spoil your mum and immerse her in an afternoon tea experience she will love and remember fondly.
