Event:
A wonderful family-friendly event

Looking for something to do with your little listeners? Check out Peter and the Wolf, part of the 2018 Canberra International Music Festival. Tickets are now on sale.

Peter and the Wolf needs no introduction - Prokoviev's enduring children's tale has introduced generations of children to the instruments of the orchestra and is a welcome addition to any Festival.

Peter's tale will be complemented by the world premiere of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party from up-and-coming young composer Holly Harrison. Young listeners will delight in the rich and colourful fantasy world of Lewis Carroll in this imaginative performance featuring five musicians representing Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Dormouse, the March Hare and Time.

A delightful morning of music for young and old!

PROGRAM

  • Holly Harrison: The Mad Hatter's Tea Party (WP)
