The songs of Peter Allen have a place in the hearts of millions of adoring fans around the world.


Peter Allen with his flamboyant stage persona, lavish costumes and unforgettable stunts, as hundreds of guests at Radio Music Hall will never forget when he rode in on a camel. He gave the world music that even today is toe-tapping, singalong and on occasions, conga line forming entertainment.

I only have to hear the song "I Still Call Australia Home" for the memory of bursting into tears as I boarded QF 2, to come flooding back; I was in London bound for Sydney after many months backpacking around Europe, unashamedly I shared my emotion at returning to my homeland with hundreds of other travellers.

After a critically acclaimed season in 2018, Matthew Hadgraft (@itsTheMattShow, Elton John: The Genesis of Glam, Cabaret, The Producers, The Road to Stockholm, ABBA Live) returns with his celebrated production Peter Allen Live in Inverted Commas.

Hadgraft once again brings energy, talent and flamboyance, that I'm sure Peter Allen would be proud of, for a night of celebration of the life and songs of Peter Allen

Hadgraft first portrayed Peter Allen in 2010 in The Boy from Oz (Spotlight Theatre Gold Coast production, directed by Faff & Sass). He continues to entertain hundreds of Peter Allen fans with the same energy and flamboyance over the last 9 years.

Whether your already a fan or new to cabaret, Hadgraft will not disappoint with his toe-tapping, sing along, laugh out loud and at moments heart-wrenching manifestation of Peter Allen.
