Attention all pet owners, you can now enjoy a well deserved break in the gorgeous Swan Valley in 5* luxury and take your best furry friend too!

The luxurious Novotel Vines Resort & Country Club , nestled in the tranquil Swan Valley, Perth, Western Australia, now offers pet friendly accommodation in their exclusive gated villa community within the grounds of the Resort.

This is great news for all golf widows (of which I am one), who normally stay at home to look after the dog whilst your partner enjoys a weekend of golf. You (and your dog) do not need to miss out any longer! For an additional $20.00 per night, your pet can relax with the whole family in one of their selected self contained apartments.

Pet bedding is not provided but food and water bowls are available. A bond is required for any damages caused by your pet throughout your stay.



The Resort is located approximately 35 mins from the Perth CBD in the serene Swan Valley. Surrounded by award winning wineries, restaurants and galleries, the Resort will provide the perfect relaxed atmosphere to unwind and rest, knowing you are only 35 mins from the city.



The Resort have two two bed villas and two three bed villas that are pet friendly. They are located a stones throw from the main hotel and are totally self contained and private, all with fully enclosed outside areas for your pampered pooch.



The villas have covered parking plus an undercover area for your pet to use in the fully enclosed garden area. You dog can have a choice; sleep inside or outside. If your dog normally sleeps outside, the covered dedicated sleeping area is perfect and out of any harsh weather conditions, so is an all year round option.



The interior areas of the villas are spotless and extremely spacious.



The outside area can be accessed via sliding doors.



The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for a long or short term stay. You wouldn't need to bring anything from home with you.



The bedrooms are spick and span which is the theme throughout all the villas. It therefore goes without saying that the cleanliness of the bathrooms and fully equipped laundry are what you would expect from such a resort. The villa is air conditioned throughout making for a very comfortable stay in the hotter months.



The outside area is adequate with enough room to throw a ball down the longer side of the villas (which is paved).

I can personally recommend the new mini golf course , The Vines Cafe & Bar, Greenside Cafe and the main pool area with 25 metre pool and heated spa. Every time we go to the resort we all feel like we are on holiday; the resort gives off a real holiday vibe. It is a wonderful feeling to be so close to home, but feel like you are on holiday; you could be anywhere in the world and your pet gets to come too.



There is plenty to do in and around the Resort for the non-golfer, (including getting up close and personal with the local wildlife) and the 36 hole championship golf course speaks for itself.



A short break here should be on everyone's bucket list. You do not need to be a golfer to enjoy your time here. There is something for everyone and now you can enjoy all the Swan Valley has to offer, knowing there is somewhere pretty great to stay and you can enjoy it all with your beloved family pet.
