While pests, weeds and diseases are not a pleasant part of gardening, knowing how to deal with them is essential to keeping your garden healthy. The Pest and Disease workshop held on Sunday 25 October 2020 from 1.30pm – 4pm at Adelaide Botanic Gardens will teach you how to keep your garden healthy. This is one of a series of workshops to help people get a foundation in good gardening practices.

This workshop will show you how to diagnose plant problems. You will also learn about the weeds, pests and diseases that are common to South Australia, and how to control them using cultural, biological and chemical strategies. A notable topic covered is Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to prevent problems and minimise the need for pesticides.

If you are interested in taking part, click here for the link to book a spot for the workshop. A 10% discount is available for people who purchase 3 or more Kitchen Garden Workshop program tickets. To get the discount, email for a discount code before you purchase.
