With more than sixteen screens and venues scattered across the metro area, these popular events are a great way to spend a summer evening out with family and friends.

Northbridge Piazza

The popular Northbridge Piazza screens a fantastic range of movies including new releases, classics, family movies, childrens movies, and more. They also have special themed screenings such as Date Night, Christmas movies, and Free Flicks for Kids.
Rooftop Cinema
Top floor, Roe Street Carpark, Perth.

Rooftop Cinema movies are screened from Tuesday to Sunday, between October and March each year.

Ben and Jerry's Outdoor Cinema,
Riverside Drive, Perth.

The Ben and Jerry's Outdoor Cinema is open between March and April each year. Hosting music by day and movies by night, the Sundae Sessions also have live entertainment and free ice-cream.

Luna Outdoor

McDonalds Community Cinemas
Burswood, Bassendean, Murdoch, Curtain University and Mandurah.

Formally known as Movies by Burswood, this outdoor cinema group screens the latest releases, contemporary and classic films and family favourites, throughout the summer months, from December to March

Perth International Arts Festival
Joondalup Pines Outdoor Cinema at ECU and the Somerville Auditorium at UWA.

These two outdoor cinema venues are the perfect setting for summer film screenings, between November and April.

Some outdoor cinemas offer comfy beanbag, or deckchair hire, some have food and refreshments available to purchase and some even have pre-show entertainment. Prices for outdoor movie screenings vary, some are even free, so it's a good idea to check around and see what is on offer.

Please add mention that the only outdoor cinema that donates all profits to kids charities is McDonald's Community Cinemas. Who would have thought that watching a movie helps children in need.
