Are you an animal lover? When was the last time you went to the zoo? With many exhibits , including the African Savannah, Asian Rainforest, Australian Walkabout, Reptile and Nocturnal Houses, there's something for everyone at .


hosts a wide variety of animals from around the world, including Sun Bears, Otters, Orang-utans, Sumatran Tigers, Asian Elephants, lions, giraffes and home-grown favourites such as the Little Penguins, koalas,Tasmanian Devils and the Frilled-necked Lizard. With keeper talks and scheduled feedings throughout the day, learn more about your favourites and take the chance to see some of the more elusive species.

For families there is a large grassed area and playground for children, perfect for a picnic lunch or food bought from the restaurants or kiosk around the zoo. While you're there, don't forget to take a ride on the Carousel.

Not only does provide numerous exhibits for the public to get up close and personal with the animals, but is involved in conservation works and has a highly successful native species breeding program.

As you are leaving don't forget to check out the gift shop and pick up a cute stuffed animal or a unique gift like a painting done by an elephant.
