Didn't know about this, did you?
This article is about to make your hot, West Aussie summer a whole lot more fun.
Everyone knows the water's brilliant, but unless you have your own boat, the choices can be a bit limited. Things like wake boarding, knee boarding and biscuiting are unrivalled - but even if you don't have your own boat, you can still experience the thrill of wakeboarding at Perth Wake Park.
Located just a bit South of Perth, the park features two circuit pools where you can wakeboard, using the power of a cable instead of the conventional boat.

The park caters to multiple skill levels, with a beginner lake, and also lessons and introduction sessions to get you started. For the more advanced your welcome to bring your own equipment if you have it, and the main lake is full of obstacles to keep you challenged.
It would also be a great place to celebrate a birthday, with free entry for spectators, and a cafe with a spacious veranda overlooking the main lake, or a beach for relaxing.
They have a range of tickets and season passes available, prices start at $40 for an hour. For the latest news, as well as session times and full prices, head over to their website.
